150 years of Boonara Homestead

What start as a cold and over cast day turn to be a lovely late Autumn day for the  celebration 150 in Boonara homestead. Not far from Goomeri in Queensland

I had a go with my new camera taking photos of my beloved husband, Rob. He usually don't like to have his photos taken but I did manage to convince him he's helping me with my portraiture work. The photos are in the garden we developed over the years and near the house Rob built..

Brisbane, Urban skyline

I Love Brisbane, its become a real metropolis since I first came to live in 1988. and its always so nice to come and visit, especially around Autumn and Winter. I like to raise my head and see all the different buildings and  architecture. It's seems there is lots of change even if on the surface lots of things stay the same

More Butterflies

We got lovely Autumn at the moment here and during the daytime we get a parade of butterflies in our garden , they are so happy to look at and feel so free.

Early morning in heaven

April this year we experienced lots of early morning fog. These photos are taken on one of those mornings just before breakfast. We live in a beautiful part of this world. 

Trip to Linville & Brisbane Vally

Part of the Nanango camera club activities we having outing to different locations, and over the years we been photographing in beautiful locations. Last Sunday we visit the Brisbane Vally and Linville, its a location we first visit in April 2008, since then (4 years) we had a massive flood  in January 2011 which was a big disaster but one place its actually did good was in the crossing where we found this big rock.In 2008 it was over grown with scrub and logs and now it was  looking a bit better (I think). The rock stand proud and make a grand statement. I post some photos from April 2008 and April 2012

Touring vintage cars, Maidenwell, QLD

On Easter Sunday we had the luck to be in Maidenwell to see the vintage cars (circa 1925-1930's), great weather and lovely cars and interesting people made us enjoying a lovely day
